Hi I was just wondering what is the average cost to replace a clutch in a TE, its done 152,000 k's

Mitsubishi will charge about $1400... your local mechanic will charge from $850-$1000. How do I know? I just went through the whole processes :P
A heavy duty clutch will add about $100 onto whatever price you get.

i just had one done by my local mechanic and he charged me $900

Ok cool, thanks so much for your reply, I guess its not cheap as i think the gear box needs to come out going by what I read in the Haynes manual, I guess the labour cost is as much as the clutch itself.

$526 for a standard clutch kit and the rest is labour ($325-$475) if using the costs in my previous post.
