Out of the blue our 3.5 TJ has got a case of the hiccups (missing)
Anyone had similiar problems????

Old plugs, leads, injector randomly not firing because it is dirty, etc etc. Check it out/get it checked out.

New plugs, leads doing the dist cap tonight.
When we put new plugs in it, it settled for about 3 weeks.
Now back.

Well, how about this?
Apparentlly a major service and tune in QLD does not include replacing
the rotor and distributor cap WTF.
Went back over my receipts (bought car new) and all the services I had,
did not change the rotor and cap. 149000 km
Anyhow problem solved.

Rotor and cap aren't normal service items. Plenty of third gens running around with the originals with higher Km.

If the problem comes back its probably the ignition coil getting weak. Temp fix you got when replacing spark plugs point to this.
