I'm trying to upgrade my TR with parts from other 2nd gens. What are some nice parts I can get off of other 2nd gens to put in it?

So far I'm thinking of:

A rear spoiler.
A better centre console (maybe one with a lid)
A tiptronic shifter (are they easy to install on automatics? or do you need a transmission conversion to manual first?)
A trip computer.
A better cluster. Are there any decent clusters available for 2nd gens?

Anyone know what models I can get the parts off of? Or any other compatible parts that would make my TR just a tad more comfortable?

A better centre console (maybe one with a lid) Use a second gen console and if the latch is broken use a third gen one. You could try and find a diamante lid from USA that has cupholder
A tiptronic shifter (are they easy to install on automatics? or do you need a transmission conversion to manual first?) No can't be done as there wasn't a 2nd gen version. I've had a look at myself TCU from a third gen won't work.
A trip computer. Nope, no second gen had one, third gen won't work.
A better cluster. Are there any decent clusters available for 2nd gens? KS verada cluster had white needles and italic writing

Anyone know what models I can get the parts off of? Or any other compatible parts that would make my TR just a tad more comfortable? KS verada seats are six way adjustable are an great improvement

Most of the question I think I have answered :) Take trip local wreckers and see what you like :D That what I did :) I think the diamante may had a trip computer but unsure on this. I also look for a after market trip computer none on offer :( Seats from third gen also fit.

Thanks for all that. Third gen spoilers will fit a TR? There are a couple on eBay, I might have to check them out. My console has no latch or lid haha. I've already got third gen seats, it's a pity the only wreckers down here have no Magnas.

*Digital clock of a KS touring wagon "rare part"
*Mirror switch of a third gen, they fit and work, only different is it has white writing.
*KS door cards, you scavenging the door pocket and fit to a manual winder door card.
*Rear light that go into the c pillar lights
*KS rear tail light and boot garnish
*Chromatic rear view mirror off a third gen
*Steering wheel take your pick from any Mitsubishi car, if the wheel uses a clock spring you must use a KR click spring for a TR
*Headlight washer of a KS touring wagon
*wood grain

Third gen spoiler fit :D Tufftr has a railliart spoiler bolted to his TR :) Any will fit :)

ide do climate control, elec windows and cruze if you dont have it. but in that case just strip a full loom out as i did. depends how far you want to go

I reckon there is a third gen spoiler sitting out in the Magna's at U Pull It Noarlunga, I was there Wednesday and saw it, as well as a blue TR sedan with a custom upholstered interior in blue and black, not too bad, but the roof lining was pretty neat ;) Could also check out those Se Map lights front and center sets.

that wing looks off a supra? and imo, that wing on a magna don't look right.

Ive got a 2nd gen wing thats painted dark green as it turns out, but I wont be able to do anything till next week.
