Just spent an interesting afternoon under the V6 TS fitting new SuperPro D bushes in the sway bar. What a bas...td of a job without a hoist that was. Dead set getting to old to be crawling around under a car. and the top bolt is a mongrel to fit with the steering rack boot getting in the way . Best part is no more rattling and creaking noise from the front end all nice and tight and quiet.

No pictures, did not give it a thought.
Just follow instructions in Workshop manual download which is basically jack up front, high as you can get on stands, remove wheels and two north/south braces (6 14mm bolts per side) then get to work removing 2 x 14mm bolts holding D bushes in place. It,s the getting the top bolt started when fitting the new bush that,s the tricky bugger, very little room to move around rack boot. Only one socket needed for entire job 14mm + rachet, short extension bar and flexi joint helps. Should knock it off in an hour a side Cheers Majordad

To help with the brackets when removing them, its easier to use a second jack, or if the car is on stands, the jack you used, place it under the lower control arm and raise it till its level, makes removing and replacing the brackets alot easier.
Replaced the ones on the mum in laws TR today, her old ones were original and completely shagged!!
