Hey i am currently buying a FTO mivec GPX manual box- wondering if it comes with teh LSD ? and if so - do the CV shafts have to be replaced?

I thought only the gp version r had the LSD

Oh i was told the MIVEC ones had it... :S anyone confirm or knows a way to tell if the gearbox is a LSD one or not?

Only the GPvRs have the LSD, just like only the Ralliarts have the LSD.

Hence the massive cost of them.

Pyalda, the gearbox will be stamped whether its an LSD equipped one or not. The number will be printed on the top of the bellhousing

OH ok thanks for that guys... if it is... do i need to change the drive shafts? heard the Ralliart uses thinner ones.

Only the Version R has an LSD.

For the same price as a Type R FTO box, you can get yourself an American Quaife/Wavetrac LSD...

That being said, if you find somewhere that sells cheap Type R FTO Boxes, let me know!!
