im having a little trouble with my 1996 altera.

when stop e.g traffic lights roundabouts my car goes to stall. the only way to stop it is to release the brake and roll a little forward, and when changing up from first to second it now jerks i had a couple of friends look at but if its not a commondoor they have no idea. so any suggestions would be very much appreciated. plus its my first car so i want to try and hold on to it for as long as i can :pleasesign:
