Hi,

I understand the Ralliart has 14 speakers (specs show this) but where are they all? I now there are 6 up front (2 in dash, 2 in front doors, 2 mirror facings) and i know there are 2 at the rear so where are the other 6 speakers?

I'm not sure, I think I read this in an article somewhere, but Mitsubishi counted each coaxial part separatly... for example a three way speaker was counted as three speakers...

Yeah, they count each driver, not each complete speaker. So the 14 speakers could be something like 4 low frequency drivers, 4 mid drivers and 6 high frequency drivers.

Ah ha... At least the Clarion deck has a dedicated Subwoofer Control so there should be a RCA preout at the back somewhere for me to plug into a monoblock for a Kicker Sub..

i thought it was all by Fujistu Ten AKA Eclipse?

Its all Eclipse/Fujitsu Ten!

2 in the Dash;
2 x 2 way Co-Ax's in the doors;
2 tweeters;
2 x 3 way Co-Ax's in the rear.

I believe thats how its set out!

Ralliart are all Eclipse. I'm not to fond of eclipse speakers but the deck is one of the best sound wise. and yes good old mits count the speakers totally wrong.

I have a eclipse deck in my TJ Sports, the same one as in the ralliarts, but even though the eclipse speakers are good they aren't as good as the decks they make. I prefer focal speakers and run them in my car. Just a preference
