Hi, could anyone tell me where i can get a cheap spare remote for my 97 Magna?:eeek:

have the same problem... I had two remotes, Lost my keys when out one weekend and was lucky to have a spare remote for the car alarm/central locking etc... took the spare in hand and noticed there was a serial number on the back of it and thought to myself "I should write that down" (didn't of course).. then that one got stolen when some muppet lifted my bag from my work vehicle when my mate forgot to lock it, only a few days later... Took my center console apart to get to the car alarm gadgets to find out the details. It may be that it's the standard alarm/locking system released with the 96 TS Magna.. but they're certainly not sold off the shelf anymore.. and trying to get a replacement remote proved futile as the only stockist I found who sold the system.. only sold them wholesale to distributors, or business dealing of many units... and not the remotes separately.. You could get in touch with Mitsubishi and they might be able to supply replacements.. but it might be easier and cheaper to get a new system put in... good luck :)

Does anyone know what the standard alarm/locking system was for the TS Magna?

Ebay about $68 .But i don't think they are much dearer than that at mitsubishi.
