How on earth do you remove them!

They're easy enough to adjust, but how do you actually remove them from the main body of the backrest?

I'm sure I'm missing something quite simple here.

There is a little hole in or near the button you press to move them (can't remember exactly where it is without checking).

Stick a thin probe (a tiny screwdriver worked for me) in the hole and hey presto, the head rest comes off!
