I have some 16" Mags i want to put on a TR 4Cyl. they are coming off a TE so i assume they will fit? and what tyre size will i need to keep the speedo calibrated?

205/55/R16 :D Same size a 14" tyre :) 205 is the largest width tyre a second gen can fit legal ( +/- what ever the rules in your state and it written on the tyre placard)

This my theory anyway you have gone from a 14" tyre to a 16" tyre that two inches now the side wall profile is 75 for a 14" tyre. So all you do is times that two inches by 10 which it equals 20. So you take 20 off the side wall profile, so therefore it 55 for a 16" tyre. So this will work for an even number rim size to even number rim size, it won't work from odd rim size to even rim size. But it will work from odd rim size to odd rim size. But use a tyre calculator if in doubt :)
