i got a TF magna exec, done 200 120k, just yesterday the car had a bad misfire (felt like the car dropped 2 cylinders) for about 5 seconds, then came good, in the 3 years Ive owned the car this problem has happened twice, I'm thinking it could be the coil. asides from the coil, is there any other sections i should be looking at, Ive replaced the spark plugs with mitsu platinum front and rear banks about 6 months ago, same time Ive replaced the leads with spitfire, and new dizzy cap and button.

Was the car hot or cold? Was it under load or idle, if under load high or low rpm?

It's probably the coil. Could also be injectors, or injector loom. If it's only ever happened twice in 3 years it's probably not a serious problem

car was hot, and not under load, travelling about 80k/h, btw, its 4 speed auto, the first time the car was hot, but idle at a set of lights.
