hi guys i recenty went behind my aftermarked stereo to connect the rcas back in place as they fell out. i actendently pulled on a red and red/grey wire which has a white fuse on it (not connected to stereo) and now my dash lights dont wont? any ideas. i cant/dont know what the red and red/gray wire came from and connects to.

also my light switch is now playing up its heaps touchy and its hard to turn my lights off

You've likely ripped out the wire that dims the display on the head unit when the headlights are turned on. The dash lights in most cars are on the same circuit as the tail lights so I wouldn't go driving the car until you verify that the tail lights are still working.

None of the stock wiring will have a fuse located behind the headunit, some aftermarket ones do come with a seperate fuse attached to the constant power wire or ACC wire
Would just re-check all the wiring to make sure its intact and check your fuses also (in drivers footwell and engine bay)

well the aftermarket cd player didnt turn on since that wire with the fuse on it broke but the cd player never came with a fuse like it. it only has the red 10 fuse. my main issue is the headlights they swicth on really easy and are hard to turn off. for example if i flash my high beams and then turn them off my normall lights will come on with the light swicth near the steering wheel in the off position? might have to check the fuses i dnt know
