1. is the front bumper two parts (top/bottom)
2. is the top half the same for all/some models?

I thought the bumper was all one piece, then the kit gets added onto that. Hence you'd have to remove the kit, then change the bar and replace the kit back on.

Just my thoughts, surely someone here can clarify.

The picture is of a standard TH/TJ front bar they are one piece .

Looks like a standard TJ exec bar. Its single piece plastic over a steel frame. Pull it off, remove the steel frame, use a heat gun and heat the dent, then push it out. Any dents/bends in the steel frame can be hammered straight. That damage is fixable, without using any new parts. I would anyway. lol
