Just a quick one. I have been offered at 3.5 KJ GTV motor with low ks at a good price and im wondering would it be a straight swap with the motor in my KF. I know they run different fuel trims but i will be doing 380 cams and an SKR tune so will this be a problem or will i need ECU etc? What else would i need?

Correct, Just figured they would have different ECU, trims etc Not sure what else is needed

A motor is a motor,A.F.A.I.K,the KJ will have the no;6 cams in there,that's the only difference.

All your fueling is controlled by the ECU.

You say you are getting an SKR tune ,well ,to make it easier for Steve ,i think you will need to get an J series ECU as it is twice the capacity of the earlier ones and runs digital rather than analog programing.

The GTV doesnt come with the ralliart / 380 cams does it? I can get the KJ ecu thats no problem but i will need to change locks, codes etc?
