Friend is having recurring problems with an intermittent airbag light coming on, that 3 mechanics have not been able to fix.
The last one apparentlyfitted another fusebox, but the airbag light has returned.
Any advice I can pass along to her?

Check the connections around the base of the seat can sometimes be alittle loose or move around some
I've had my light stay on and was the connection for the passenger seat airbag
Wiggled the wire alittle and the light went away, hasnt come on again since

Sometimes the side airbag connections, yellow cables with joiner connections, underneath the seats can have connection problems due to the seats being moved backwards & forwards. If checking the connectors be carefull not to unplug them while the ignition is on or turn the ignition on while the airbags are unplugged otherwise an SRS fault will be logged/SRS dash light will remain on. If the problem persists then take it to Mitsubishi.

Thanks guys - that might be it. She is really short, and her partner is really tall - the driver's seat spends a lot of time being rolled back and forth.... I'll pass it along.
