Gday all, Im new here but hoping that someone can help me out..
The missus spilt a baby's bottle in the back so it was up ot me to give it a good clean. Anyway I noticed that the well in the RHS of the compartment bit under the MDF panelling was full of water. Had a search about but couldnt see a bung.
I took all the MDF out and gave the spare wheel area a good scrub before hosing it all down the bunghole.
Can anyone tell me how to get the rear panels out between the window and the floor. They seem like they are held in with some nasty plasticky resistance...

http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25113 have a look at this, i have the same car as you with the same problem !! but now fixed it...
the plastic trim is held in mainly by plastic clips (which can break easily if forced to hard) and a few screws......
now i have re sealed the rear side windows my th wagon is DRY AS A BONE....................

Same problem I had, if you look on the outside at the top near the back end of the window, there is a slit on the window surround, it is most likely leaking through there, bit of sikaflex and all done, (even silicone), never had a problem since, just stuck with swollen wood in the boot

I found some MDF sheets to lookslike Ill be out on the jigsaw next weekend replacing those fluffy old floor panels. lol.
Is there a knack to:
a. getting those hook-like pin things out of the thin plastic trim directly below the side window. they are holding in the whole surround... and
b. actually sealing the window. i saw nuts and this scares me a bit..

A.. just pull on the panel carefully while prising it with a screwdriver as close to the plastic clips as possible...
B. unbolt the whole window (especially the one at the top nearest to the rear passenger door ! ) scrape off old sealent and wash with soapy water and let dry,
also wash the metal work on the car where the window is going to contact and let dry.....
i used a plumbers silicone sealent (from bunnings) on the window, bolt the window back in place (carefull not to lose that nut at the top) put everything back together...
if possible leave car in garage or undercover for a while maybe overnight to let the silicone set......
job done....
time taken for both sides 3hrs and that was not rushing just being careful not to break anything.....
