I have Verada KH 2000 model. Is it fine to use platinum spark plug in all banks. (NGk PFR5G-11)

Will it increase the performance - Need advice should I do it or not

Thanks

It will not increase performance at all, in fact I have founod over the years that the std carbon are the best if you are willing to change on a regular basis.

It will however then allow you to change all your plugs in one hit and leave them until the next time they need to be changed. The cost of carbon over platinum over the 100k is about the same

Shoot me a PM with what price you can get the plugs for as I may be able to better for you

For "carbon" in the above post, read "copper". lol

I read 'carbon' as meaning internal resistor spark plugs - I think the internal resistor is made from carbon. Most plugs are of this type nowdays.
When I change my plugs it will be to normal garden variety as Madmagna suggests.

Fair enough, copper core/tip and carbon resistor. Do the Platinums and Iridiums have the carbon resistor too though? The standard NGK copper/carbon plugs seem to last long in the Magna, I changed copper plugs in my wife's Lancer at 25,000 km and they still looked good. Manual says to replace them only if they give a misfire, so I have no idea how long they would actually last. Same plugs as the front of the Magna, so they may end up in the Magna at some stage. lol Nah, got a set of Platinums for that - only because they were cheap from the USA and didn't add to the postage on the stuff I was already getting.
