For BAIN or anyone else getting or got extractors; Have you choosen to HPCoat your extractors? I read here http://www.surefloexhaust.com.au/frame1024x768.htm that HPC cuts engine bay heat etc AND can increase power by 5% over the 10 odd percent the extractors will give.

Its also stated that if you do not drive the car often or have custom(? ) extractors (are there any other kind?) that HPC is a good idea (Rust inhibition).

Is there anyone out there with extractors for a long time (2-3years say, also assuming you drive your motor 'regularly' ) who, in hindsight, can tell us if they would have HPC'ed their extractors before fitting.

I havent bothered to get them HPC coated.. You can probably add a few $100 to the original quotes.

The pacemakers are that cheap anyhow that it would be best just to buy another set if anything did happen to them.

I wouldnt worry about it unless youre going for looks :) and trying to sqeeze out every bit of HP from the engine.

Ta BAIN. You are right, they are cheap enough as it is. Well. I should have em installed by the weekend so will keep you all posted on how much quicker I can get past them speeding B-Doubles!! Starnge that. Some members go hunting V8s. I go 'hunting' B-Double Cattle-Carrying Lorries
