I'm looking to put the seats from a 380 into a 3rd Gen and wondering if anyone here has attemped it, done it or can offer advice as to what fits and what doesn't.
I know the fronts are a straight fit but is the rear and how much modifying do you have to do on the fronts to make them fit ?
Any advice would be great.

Probably the same as a te-tj to tr ts, just need to weld a new bracket in?

There was a member for SA who did attempt this
I think the rears fitted fine but was no way the fronts were gonna fit
Maybe search and see if you can find the thread
Fronts do not fit without modification, and either do the rears. Modification will require engineering to be legal.
I think annese fitted these to his old TE but i remember him saying they wern't legal due to the side airbags the new seats had or something like that..
They wernt legal as it required drilling into the rails and bolting them offset.

Quickly chucked the leather GT seats in the back of the TH today. They won't be a perfect fit, particularly where the sides meet the base at the door opening but with some bending of tabs they will fit and look half decent. Took a quick phone pic

Whilst i was at it, removed the seat base from the front seat and had a bit of a look. The rear mounts you can bolt straight in but the fronts aren't even in the same postcode lol
I'm sure it's possible to do a dodge job to get them mounted (illegally) but i think i'd be taking them to a specialist to get sorted out and certified. It's a pity because i think they'd look great in the TH (or KS as the case may be lol ).
Another thing i noticed was that the fronts seem to sit really high in the Magna although i think that the seat was raised to it's full height and should drop a fair bit.
