Hi guys, does anybody know if the current model 18" mags that come on the lancer will fit a TJ magna?

Cheers, Dave
They do fit, however I believe the tyres are the wrong size.

They sure do:

The tyre size you want to put on them is 225/45R18. However, to get that size in the right load rating you're looking between $240-$300 per tyre.

As stated, the rims fit perfect, but the tyres are too small and are not correctly load rated for Magnas.

Wow that suits the Silver magna so well, mine is also silver. Does anybody know what class load rating they have to be and what speed class?

I'm running them on my AWD. They do fit and fall within the specs on the tyre placard.

Lots of discudsion here on tyres and stuff.
Dont forget to get the nuts with them, they are quite pricey.
Mecha wombat has them on his 380 gt as well, but IMO, they are too understated for a tuff tj, too tame for a 380 too, nice on a lancer though.

However if you're getting them straight off a Lancer the load rating on the tyres won't be correct.
IIRC the Lancer rating is 89, the Magna needs 96 or something.
Being realistic the Magna doesn't actually need 96 and 89 will work if you're just driving normally but insurance might pick you out on them if anything happens.

That looks good Dingers, the best I've seen em, the two tone blends em in real nice.
Still stand by what I say, IMO too boring for a tuff tj, they have a decent factory sports look tho.

They both look great IMHO. I'll have to do some pricing on the tyres and weight up the options, I have seen a lot of these mag's come on sale more so then 17" factory magna wheels from VRX's, GTVi, etc. in Brisbane anyway.

Yah definitely the best looking wheel for my car in my opinion.
Sold them however and now I've got evo 8 wheels on there, the RA Lancer wheels look schmick but don't fit Brembos lol

:stoopid:
Magna needs 95 load rating. The stock yoko's supplied on these from factory will not have the correct load rating. They will work however but will be illegal.

You try and a good side shot of Red Valdez's ride. The only one I found it looks grounded on the sidewalk.
