What do you need out of your brakes? Is your car a daily driver, or do you enjoy a good mountain run? Do dust and noise bother you?

I put Bendix CT on mine and not real impressed with their lack of bite. I think these are repackaged as Bendix premium for Supercheap. I would not buy these again.

I would look at the Bendix Ultimates or the QFM HPX. They're both performance pads, so they're both dusty and noisy (the Bendix moreso), but will cop a flogging.

I had the Bendix General CTs previously, and while they're great pads for a daily driver (work well enough, no dust, no noise), they fade rapidly if you're driving hard. I currently have the QFM HPX (coupled with 380 calipers) and would definitely recommend them if you don't mind putting up with a bit of dust.

Forum sponsor Mitsfix sells the QFM, and fellow sponsor and QMD Rep megatron sells Bendix pads.

What would you consider better overall, Bendix premiums, or Mitsubishi genuine?

Bendix premiums but having had bendix in my car prior to my current QFMs my vote goes to the QFMs without a doubt.

as the others said, go the QFMs best bang for your buck

QFM are $80 a set by the way, even for the HP-X, which is pretty good.

EBC green stuff are recommended too but are like $200 a set. supposed to have lest dust though so thinking of trying them.

Example of brake dust here (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75157&p=1394957&viewfull=1#post1394957). It's more of an inconvenience than anything else - give your car a wash, and after a couple of days you'll have a clean car but dirty rims lol - but provided you clean your rims regularly it's no harm.

QFM HPX are good.. The have good feel, not dusty and can take a little more "run on the hill" beating compared to stock.
