So I was just trolling eBay instead of working and came across this:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mitsubishi-Badge-Logo-Emblem-LED-Baseplate-Blue-Lights-/190524841220?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c5c2a5d04

Thoughts? Would this even be legal?

Maybe you could get away with it on the front?

Should be okay as long as its not too bright or distracting.

Maybe a red one on the back to match tail lights and a white one on the front?

Hardest part I see is running the wiring - would have to drill through the existing badge and the boot lid itself to keep it invisible. Do-able I guess, and replacement badges aren't that expensive. I got one replaced a couple of months ago, cost $15.

Only emergency vehicles are allowed to have blue lights, so don't mess with blue unless you want "unwanted" attention. :)

Legally, if it's on the front, it can be white or yellow, ie: head, fog and indicator lights.
If it's on the back it can be red, yellow or white, ie: tail/brake, indicator and reverse lights.
If you can make it red and have it on the back and it doesn't distract from your brake lights, then it would be fine.

I emailed cos I am not sure that their badge is going to fit on the 380's boot logo nicely. Using a width and height do describe dimensions of a Mitsi logo is a bit confusing. I have asked them what the length is between two of the logo tips. This will hopefully give me a better idea.

Can anyone say RICE!

Surely they boost your social status, attract the gurls, reduce the facial zit count, and add many Kw at the wheels? Otherwise, I would NOT bother.

doesnt include the badge, so mounting shouldnt be too hard. just one small hole for the wires?

and if you look at his store they are in red and white too
