on a serious note, shop around and u can get a straight thru performance muffler fitted with a nice tip for under $200. Redback or lukey are my recommendations. Also add a k&n panel filter for $130 or so and in theory u should be getting a total of around 10 fly wheel kw more out of your magna :)
Get those plastic hub cap cover things that spin inside eachother, its just like adding nitros, i swear!

actually, the TJ sports is already fitted with a straight thru muffler from factory hence the 163kW VS the executive's 155kW. so there isn't a need to go for a aftermarket muffler
first off try a k&n panel filter / or pod (depending on which u prefer... the topic has been discuss many times before so do a search) to improve response.
in terms of handling mods... lowering with king springs seems to be the way to go ... u can also get some swaybars and tower braces from Whiteline etc
that should start u off !

i have been looking at getting one of those pod filter but i heard that u need a new chip or u had to get the chip remaped. does any one know about that or not.
i have also been looking at getting a d&t exhust kit (twin cat package) but i have been wondering if it would be better with a lukey or a walker utlra flow system with extrackers.

Greetings All.
Actually, PM TH Smoker, Because he is selling some VERY good DIY Cold Air Intake kits + Pod.
Buy his kit, then id suggest getting some Pacemaker Tuned Length Extractors OR RPW Extractors. I wouldent be overly worryed about the exhaust JUST yet, due to the better exhaust on the TJ's. After the CAI & Extractors, Id recommend going for a Full 2.5" Redback Exhaust OR a Fuel Pressure Regulator. Even better then a FPR would be a Unichip or GReddy E-manage, if ya really wanna get into heavy modding.
CAI + POD (TH Smokers Kit) = $200 (Install Yourself OR Ask One Of Us To Help)
Pacemaker Extractors = $500-600 (Pro Install)
RPW Extractors = $750-950 (Pro Install)
Full 2.5" Redback Exhaust = $650-900 (Pro Install)
FPR = $200-450 (Pro Install)
Unichip = $1000-$1300 (Pro Install)
Greddy Emanage = $1500-$2000 (Pro Install)
Personally, if i owned a TJ Sports, I would Do them in the following order;
CAI + POD
RPW Extractors
High Flowed Throttle Body From RPW
2.5" Catback Redback Exhaust
Stage One Cams From RPW
GReddy E-Manage
Mild Porting And Polishing
Stroke Reduced Slightly & Increase Bore To Compinsate (To Make It Slightly More Responsive), Bored Out To 3600cc (3.6L)
Fuel Pressure Regulator (Only Now Would I Recommend It.)
Compression Raised To 11.0:1
Please remember these are just rough estimates.
Cheers,

i am well aware of that but i thought his car was just a 155kW exec? Oh and if i owned my dads TJ sports still the first thing i would do is change the muffler to exactly the same as i have on my TE, simply because i think it sounds quite a bit better :)
