View Full Version : Amp power cable through firewall? 2000 TH Magna

Hey guys installing my amp today. Got the power cable through But cant get back seat out got the bottom bit out just need the back bit off. Tips an Advise :D

in the left hand side take the inner gaurd out and feed the wire through the rubber grommet and it will come out just near the glove box best thing is no holes to cut or drill

There's kind of a whole section of the forum dedicated to car audio questions but anyway.. Take your pick, if you drive an auto you can use the clutch grommet, I advise not using the ecu grommet in the middle of the firewall (poking around in that area is just asking for trouble, the shortest route is a grommet at the top of the firewall on the battery side, but it is quite difficult to get the cable past the stuff under the dash, and then you have the least frustrating, but most prep work way of going through the wheel arch grommets which comes out right at the cable duct that runs the length of the passenger side doors to the boot

how do i take the back seat off???????

Take the back seat squab out first. 2 plastic pulls under the front edge.

Back is held down on 3 postions. LH, centre and RH. Look for loops of 4 mm dia wire with bolts thru.
Then push the seat back upwards.
