I reckon a VRX wagon would look good, and provide the space to carry all the stuff I need. Not having a 5 speed tiptronic would be painful though.
Has anyone kitted a wagon up to VRX specs?

Yes, I ahve done 2 of them, The above car was done by me and then my own wagon is also fully kitted out as a VRX, well at least is at the moment as the kit is soon to come off and be sold off
The rear bar can be fitted to the wagon bar with some modifications, you need a good plastic fabricator but can be done and looks factory

Cool, thanks SHOOTs, haven't seen that model before aswas never sold here in NZ. Body kit is a bit soft but the drivetrain and suspension is a good start over the standard wagon.

A good set of rear shocks will help alot. Speak to Madmagna (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/member.php?u=18), he has some Boge dampers in his wagon at the moment.
my brother has a TH wagon with a TJ VRX front lip and side skirts.. he got lazy on the rear bar and just went sportswagon rear pods
he has one of the rare manual TH Advance wagons- it's not exactly spec'ed out as a VRX but it has a cat-back exhaust, Lovell SP front springs with Koni Yellow struts and low rear springs with KYB shock absorbers, whiteline adjustable sway bar, TL/TW 17" wheels and AWD front twin calliper brakes.. so it's somewhat close to a VRX setup
