So... My windows won't work. nothing else is wrong, everything else is working... Any suggestions please?

You could try the connection beneath the button controller, lift the center console arm rest, then you need to pull up the lower console fascia that holds the buttons, it will only come up 3 inches at the back if the loom plug is still connected.
I posted a how to in the Car Audio DIY stickied area.
I'm not sure if they have their own fuse though.
There could other issues but thats the first thing I would check if they are all not working.

It looks like there is a 40A fuse in the engine box, but i don't know how to check it...

A 1.5v battery, two bits of wire and a torch globe, tested outside the vehicle. Or an LED test lamp.
I've seen the inside of these switch boxes, and the do dirty up a bit on the electrical contacts, but I've only lost one window at a time due to this, not all four.
If it is the fuse, be prepared to buy a couple, cause if the fuse went to short somewhere, you'll blow another.

have checked both the fuse and relay; both are ok. so i'll have to check the connection under the buttons next...
