hi shaun, i mounted the central locking unit just below the door latch. from memory i had to drill holes and then screwed straight in. the metal rod connects straight to the rod in the door lock. hope this helps. i don't have any pics or diagrams.

My Kit has arrived now so I will be starting it tomorrow, apparently it is advisable to put loctite on all actuator mounting screws to avoid loosening through vibration.

This thread from Cheyenne offers a lot of specific help http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88538

the factory system mounts under the door lock on the side of the door. just be careful to keep it clear of the window winder mechanism. mine use to jam because i used 2nd gen actuators which are much better then first.

good luck!
