Just wondering if anyone can source parts from the 380 Platinum Edition? Google hasn't been all too helpful to me. Specifically i'd like to put the chrome grill on my db2 grey 380
Thanks,
mick

The Platinum Grill is not chrome, it is aluminum colored, with a body colored lip. If that is what you want go to your local Mitsubishi dealer parts section you should be able to order them. If you have noticed my grill it is a Mitsubishi prototype grill that never went into production but is similar to the platinum grill.

s311, I have a similar question.
I have a 2005 base model and I would like to replace the grill insert with one with chomed horizontal slats.
AFAICT the 2005 LX and the 2006 ES both have a grill with these chromes slats, and they look identical in size & shape to my grill.
But my local Mitsu dealer tells me that these grills are not the same size & shape as the stock 2005 grill, they are a couple of mm different in places, and I would not be able to use them.
True or false?
KJ.

That is a very interesting question. I have never attempted this so I have no idea. Like you I would be surprised if they are a different shape as they look identical in size / shape.
Perhaps a kind forum member who has the grill you want could allow you to do a quick fit test to determine the answer. Can someone out there help KJ?

I have enough parts for a full car. However they are currently assembled as a full car and I drive it, so no you can't have any parts from it :)

Ah well I'm looking for that general shiny colour :)
Did you source it from a dealer, or did you just buy a platinum edition?
I reckon i'll pop down down to the auto shop and buy some similar coloured stuff to replace the mesh between the fogs
