Hey, my keyless entry won't work on My te. It just stopped working out of the blue, I reprogrammed it and when I press the button to program the remote, the blinkers flash as per usual. Therefore it has reception, but it won't work, all the door switches work and the boot latch switch is to. Is there on on the bonnet? Or what else could be causing it?

My KH (slightly different locking system) did that intermittently for a while. It hasn't happened since I replaced the battery but I can't say 100% that changing the battery is what fixed it.

Maybe try and get a battery test done - it could be the first signs that it's starting to go.

did you replace the battery in the remote, the reciever for the keyless is i think is mounted under the dash next to the console on the drivers side. while programing the car is expecting a signal and you are close to it when you use it you are further away. the bateries are about $4 so its worth a try

all fixed now. turned out to be be door locking fuse under the bonnet. pulled it out, sprayed with co contact cleaner, put it back in and she is all good. firts humid weather we have had for around 6 months, plus the fuse was loosey goosey, possible from a couple weeks ago when i change the interior dome fuse.
