hi, i just got a 93 tr magna off a mate and i need fix the cam seal, some people have told me to take it to a mechanic to get it done and others say its not hard just a pain in the ask, can you guys please asist me in this task, do you think its worth me doing it or geting it done by a mechanic? i am capable of doing it if i choose to but i am unsure if i want to, if so is there any websites with a how to guide to do this?

its a 4cyl manual if that makes any difference

Unbolt 2 bolts off plastic water pump belt cover, loosen water pump bolts, swing it around a bit, remove belt, remove rocker cover, unbolt water pump pulley off end of cam, winkle out seal out, new seal in (lube seal lips, push in by hand), reassemble.

If it is leaking badly from that end, might just be the rocker cover gasket. They tend to leak with age. Look at that before replacing seal.
