Hey guys i was looking for a different steering wheel but with having a drivers air bag im limited to my options legally so im wondering i have heard of people restoring their steering wheels but im wondering can you customize them without it being illegal? as im after something similar styling to the momo ralliart just in different colors?

You can re-wrap them in different coloured bits and bobs. and even stick some rubber under the wrap to make it lumpy, All personal skill how good you can make it look though.

what do you use to re wrap them? do you get the gear and parts from the local auto parts store? cause ill give it a go and i may give the rubber lumps a go ill just research it abit more

I fitted a leather cover to mine after a few people on this forum recommended them - they are made in California and are top quality plus look and feel great. This is their wesite:

Yeah, I was one of the people who recommended these steering wheel covers.

Here's a pic of mine.
