Ok I wanted to get a set of flares (Like of the Ralliart Magna and I think the VR-X's have them also)
Biggest problem is that to make it look nice you really need to change the front and rear bar and the side skits to match up with the wheel arch bits.....

Well I was searching on eBay... as I do from time to time... and came accross a 2003 VR-X Diamante Brand New for sale from a dealer in USA..
Anyway "So what" you may say... "Who has $37,647.03 + delivery and import TAX?"...
Well check out the link to the auction and check out the body kit on their 2003 VR-X Diamante's.
Could be worth getting the Guys who live in Adelaide to go to the factory and get the part numbers and price.

i personally dont think the flares shown look very aggressive.. to be honest, i dont think the US spec VRX looks very aggressive at all :shock: i love our Oz specs one.. they look the sh!t

The ones just below the handel are for the electric seat memory presets.
the ones down the base of the door are for Trunk and Fuel cap release.

The back seats and font seats are nice in the dark leather...
The door trims ... look like cheap plastic/vinyl covers.
Did anyone notice the extra lump in the boot on the right hand side behind the seat? .... any clues as what it is?
Do any TJ owners out there have that little box in their boots?
And on the drivers and passangers front doors there is an extra button infront of the window switch (passengers side) .... what you reckon ... map light button?

Outside the car is no way as nice as the AU VR-X...
I was just saying that the wheel arch flares would fit on a standard car without having to purchase special front and rear bars.

just get the aussie vrx flares...i was thinking bout shoving a vrx kit on but i dunno! its a tossup between blakes kit and the ralliart magna kit (without spoiler)

But the VRX flares are the same as the ralliart flares .... in as much as they finish by bumping into the front bar, rear bar and sideskirts.
It would look funny!
These ones dont bump into the the bars they cover them...

I noticed that too! And NO it's not on my TJ Advance either???


Overall, that VRX looks no where near as good as the ones here.

all that vrx is just our verada thats all it is.i like the door light covers being white.

Update to the Flares....
The Flares on the Diamante are $209.53 EACH adn the side skirts are $470.80 I think it is each also for the skirts...
POINT!
No friggin way am I getting them :)
Id rather go without or get the VRX/Ralliart ones for $70 each.
