The wiring is the same but it's bigger, do I just cut a suitably bigger hole in the roof lining and screw it on?

Just to add to that, make sure you have the bracket and the light. You'll have a hard time screwing it on if you didn't get the bracket from the donor car.

Take the old light out.
Work out where the new bracket lines up with the dimples in the roof reinforcement. CAREFULLY open up the dimples to make pilot holes.

Are you adding the Verada light to the existing system, so having the centre dome light as well.

In this case you need to bring a wire back from the centre light to the new front light.

Make a cardboard template around the new light to get the bigger opening worked out.

I fitted the new bracket, used this to align the cut out template. Marked the new opening shape with a soft lead pencil.
Then cut the opening in the headlining. As a guide the rearward edge of the light is very close to the edge of the straight edged area of the headlining.

I am often out at 04:30 am to take my son to swimming. Having double roof lights, with "C" pillar lights and the footwell lights suddenly means that I can see that everything that we need is in the car.
