I was replacing the interior light when there was as small spark, and I blew the fuse that feeds the interior light. Problem: how do I get it out? it seems to have yellow plastic grippers on either side, and I can't get a good enough grip on it to pull it out............

thoughts, anyone?

there is usually a tool that sits on the lid of the fuse cover or just use a pointy nose set of pliers

I bought a set of pointy nose pliers, and I can now get a really good grip on the fuse, but when I pull on it, I'm lifting the whole left hand side of the car, by the fuse (!!!) and still the fuse won't come out..............

that yellow surround, pull on that, it should pop up, then you can pull the fuse out.
