this is turning into a saga: I fitted the verada interior light, blew the interior light fuse in the process, I've now replaced that fuse, and the new interior light works fine but now the combined odo/tripmeter display just flashes "5" and does nothing else. What have I done wrong?

I've checked all the fuses under the bonnet and in the passenger compartment, can't find any problem there.

I went through the trip computer reset procedure about 3 times, and it eventually came good...........

You will see the 5 flashing on the ODO everytime you either disconnect the battery or pull up that yellow box in the engine bay
To clear just hold the mode button until it beeps then hold it down once more until it beeps
Should come good after this which is what seems you have done lol
