Hi all.
I've recently thought of putting a bodykit on my TL as it would finish it's look off (I think). I've been thinking about the TL VRX front bar however I can't seem to find it anywhere. I was also thinking of full bodykits too however I don't really need a full one. My question is, are there bodykits available for TLs which basically extend on your existing side skits, front and rear bars (I think most people have seen these and know what I'm talking about)? And if not that, where and how much could I pick up a TL VRX front bar. Thanks

The only thing that you can do which looks decent IMO is the VR-X kit. Anything else you can get to suit a TL looks cheap and nasty. As for where to find one, persist with checking wreckers etc until you find one somewhere?

there is only 1 aftermarket option for a TL/TW Magna and that's at from the car mate website but i have heard many unsatisfied customers buying gear from them so a VRX kit is probably your best option, you can ask your local spray painter/bodywork's store to see if they can chase them down of course you could source it from a wreckers for cheaper but that would take some time, if not try a Vereda KL Body kit if your wanting to go luxury

Yeah I looked at that car mate website and there is only one front bar you can get and it looks like sh*t. I think you guys are right, the VRX one is probably the best. Just sourcing it like you guys said is gonna be a task. And as for wreckers they rarely ever have rear end smashed cars so it will be hard trying to find one from the wreckers. But yeah I think I'll opt for the VRX front bar.

I know there is a TL/TW sitting in Walco wreckers on boundary rd, unsure if it a VRX but worth a shot.

best to try and source a front bar or the whole kit online if you want this to go quick

Thats cool mate. Yeah, its gonna be a bit of a task finding a VRX front bar but that is what I'm really gonna opt for. May not even do it as I am planning on selling my maggie when I'm off my green P's in march 2013. Gonna get a Holden VE SS 6.0L manual ute, hopefully ;) . Also, after looking around I can see that the VRX bar looks the best which is why I want it over the other ones. I think they make the TL look really neat and sporty :P

The few times I've been to Wacol there haven't been any TL/TWs, so if there's one there now I might need to duck in again. Any clue as to how much has been stripped yet, as 3rd gens seem to get stripped quick there?
