driving around today, i noticed that the temp gauge was getting a couple lines higher than usual, so i took it home, opened the bonnet and then i noticed that there was coolant pouring (solid stream) out of the water pump area. after cooling the car down, i filled up the radiator and bled it. the water was really orange/brown so i gave it a bit of a flush out.

so anyways, expecting to get to work and get out to see a big puddle forming under the car, there is nothing. not even a drop. so i check the radiator, and no water missing either. same story on the way home from work tonight. not even 1 drop in the carport after i got home. even if i let the thing sit and idle for a couple minutes.

Any ideas?

Probably a stuck thermostat. You might want to consider replacing it, and using COOLANT instead of water. Orange/brown in the cooling system is NOT a good idea. It's the colour of rotting aluminium.

I'd get your cooling system pressure tested for leaks.

sound like you got some crud in the water pump seal that caused it to leak, flush cleaned it out but my view is that the brown water (rust) will have damaged the pump seal a little and it will leak soon.time for a new pump,t/stat,proper coolant. mind you its just my 10 cents worth.
