im looking for a knock sensor that plugs onto a tr harness, where abouts do they normaly fit, since ive got a tm with tr efi there is no place for it that i can see

there is a round blank in the back of the block
under the inlet manifold
you have to drill and make the thread in the hole

buffy is right as always. but instead of having to drill out the block ive heard of people mounting it on the ac bracket with success. really as long as it is somewhere solid on the engine the harmonics will travel through to it. maybe mounting it on the front of the block under the exhaust manifold would be easier. but apart from the possibility of an error on the ecu it shouldn't make any difference to running unless you have a problem with the timing being so far advanced its pinging.
