Hi brothers, long time no speak.
Just wondering, how to remove the thin black side door trim from middle of the TL ES door panel (outside)? I want to remove them for repaint to body colour. Also make it easier for waxing. Many thnaks.

to remove them all i used was abit of thin nylon fishing line and abit of force just gotta cut the double sided tape holding it there, then to remove the residue abit of acetone should do the trick

Instead of starting a new thread..
These side trims... Are they interchangeable between say...... KJ & KL..?

From what I heard, Yes. But don't take my word for it (I haven't tried it myself). Open the doors between two vehicles and compare the side shape of the metal panels before deciding.

Oh, by the way, what kid of double sided tape to use to stick the trim back? Any recommendations?

3M tape is the best ive used, i have used others just make sure its okay to use on automotive surfaces and exterior use
