Hey does anybody know the part number for the K&N panel filter that works with the Astron 2.6's?

Or are they the same ones used in the 3.0 and 3.5's?

if u go to anywhere that stocks k&n filters, and open the catalogue that is usually where all the k&n filters are.....you should be able to find the part number.

Autobarn are full of **** then cos K&N definitely still produce filters for Magnas. I bought one about 2 weeks ago.

part # 33-2045 is for TR/TS magna 2.6 and 3.0, try to ask for part number instead, they should be able to bring it in if it isn't in stock.

Ok I'm sorry but can someone tell me what a K&N panel filter is and how much for a 2.6 TR? I have been meaning to ask but kept forgetting.

it's just the air filter element that you put in the original airbox, instead of using paper element, K&N uses cotton element that said to have a greater filtering and more airflow. and cost should be around $90.

Yeah if depends if its a carby or fuel-injected also. The TR GLX requires an oval type shaped air filter and the Executive requires a square or rectangular shaped one. Just ask around for prices. I was qouted $95, $110, $138 and $150 by 4 different companies for the a K&N Panel filter for my TR GLX. If you can get one for around $100 I think you are doing very well. On another note instead of paying just over $100 for an air filter I would be getting a Lukey LR2779 muffler fully installed for $160 BEFORE you get an air filter, simply because for pretty much the same price it's more effective. i would do in order, mod number:
1) Lukey LR2779 Muffler
2) K&N Panel Filter
