Hi Guys......HELP

Looks like my boot cable has snapped on my 2005 TW AWD Magna
Neither the key remote or the glove box remote will open the boot.
Another thing is MMAL decided to get rid of the key lock on this model so can't even open the boot using a key..DOH !

Any ideas on how to get my boot open
( have to get rid of the body in there soon before it starts to really smell...hehehe):bowrofl:

I have searched on here, google and the workshop manual without any luck.
Even tried the RAA but still no can do.

The opening in the back seat is way to small for me to get in and my arms are not long enough to reach the lock mechanism.

So am i stuffed????
Any suggestions would be appreciated :pleasesign:

Where the ski port is, as you look at it, open it and on the inside of the port there is a pull tab for the boot. Pull it!!

As you reach in its on the drivers side....either that or send in a 7year old with a torch through the ski port ...lol

Yes, forgot it was on drivers side, wasn't sure.
Don't laugh my 8 year old has done it!!

I've squeezed through that port too.

Anyways yes, TL-TW's had a manual release cable in the ski port, just look for the ring and pull.
