Have an opportunity to grab one of the above, but have stuffed up a screen before attempting to remove a mirror.
So,what is the best and easiest way to remove the mirror from the screen without wrecking it.

Piano wire, a thin small hacksaw blade, the mirror should just unclip from the clip glued to the screen I think? ( or is it different being chromatic and having wires?) make sure you get the loom too, runs in the roof down the A pillar and into the fuse box from what I can find in the workshop manuals

It's the same clip. He's asking how to remove the mirror from the windscreen.
I can't offer any advice - I left a hole big enough to fit a golf ball through the windscreen last time when I put my chromatic mirror on.

I used a flat tip screwdriver (to be placed from the underside to push the retaining clip upwards, a pair of pliers to hold pressure on the clip, a small mallet to hit the mount upwards, and a large bucket of swearing.
It took about 10 mins to remove the mirror for my TJ Advance, and FA time to install the new one on.
