I had the battery disconnected in my "2003 TL ES auto"

and now I can not enter the stereo code that mitsubishi gave me from my vin.

When code comes up I do the following

- I hold the play pause button for 2 seconds
- then enter the code of "2077"
- hold the play pause button for 2 seconds

the stereo asks me to enter the code again... Have I got the process or the code wrong?

hi there i did this code thingy in my old mans TL ES magna wagon today!

what ya gotto do is hold the play/pause button untill it says code,
then enter your code and just press the play/pause button again (dont hold it)

Chances are that the head unit has been changed under warranty and no one has detailed the change, if this is the case then your only option is to get a new head unit
