If i debadge my 98 magna advance will there be holes to plug or are they just glued on? And will i just be able to clean the glue off with some cut and polish and turps?
What is the best way to do this

There wont be any holes in your boot lid, as the badges are stuck on with double side tape.

grab some fishing line and slowly cut in to it

Heat up the badges a bit to make the tape go gooey. Leave it in the sun for a bit, or use a hairdryer. Wouldn't use a heat gun as you risk damaging the paint.
Run some fishing line behind the badge and it should come off without too much fuss. There's no holes behind to fill in.
There will be residue from the badge tape. I used Orange Power (that's the barnd) Goo Remover. Comes in a small (50-100ml) bottle, available from your supermarket cleaning isle. Removes the residue without damaging the paint.
Give the car a wash and go over the area with your choice of cut n polish.

hahaha.. Got them off without a hairdryer, the "Mitsubishi" one came off with fishing wire (glued on) but the "Advance" one is like a 3d sticker so i just peeled it off after getting a bit of fishing wire under the bottom corner. Ive left the little Mitsubishi symbol and "V6" on the back.
