Hey guys,

I have a 98 TF which I was doing a cluster swap on. My speedo didn't work in the old cluster, so I thought it time to upgrade.

After swapping the cluster, I tested if the lights worked. No lights on the Air con controls/ Ciggy lighter lights or the cluster. BUT! The cigarette lighter itself and the roof lights both still work.

I checked the fuses and they all seem to be fine!

Help. Please please.

ummm.......the lights that you say arent working are on the same fuse which is located under the bonnet in the fuse box.it is more than likely that it is one of the parker fuses ,as this fuse controls your dash lights.

Make sure you have properly pushed the harness back into the cluster.

The other bits you mention run off different fuses.

I managed to figure it out.

I didn't have the dimmer hooked back up! Wow, fancy that. A circuit needs to be complete for it to work aparently!

yep.and that will do it too,also,dont hook back the hazard light switch properly,goodbye indicators...
