i have a TL VR which is the same original system as the VRX, wanted to change the rear muffler for performance and note dont want something really loud but want a sportier sound maybe deep but with no drone i wanted some suggestions of what brands work well with that original system? thanks

Use the search engine plenty of threads and suggestions in each one :) but if you want sound/performance id go a simple Redback/Lukey muffler $300ish and Extractors if you got money $600 - $1000

Forget performance, you're not getting any more gains out of changing the muffler (It is a factory free-flow semi-straight muffler). You'll just get noise. If its auto, I wouldn't change it at all or you'll gain a nice drone at 2000rpm.

In that case, go for it... A nice straight-through Magnaflow will give you a nice deep note.

as Life said, a Magnaflow is the go.. they're not cheap at all but worth the dollors in my opinion
