my car has been making a weird noise for awhile now, after i turn, usually full lock or thereabouts ie roundabouts or driveways, when i return the wheel to straight it makes like a clunk or knocking noise, only once though. Has had new cv shafts and front suspension ..the noise was there before new work had been done. Any ideas?

i would probably check the bushes in the steering column

Could be one of the control arms.

Could also be engine mounts - you also need to get the car on ramps to check the suspension and also see if you can move the engine by levering it which may tell if the mounts are shot. Otherwise it could be anything from A to Z.
