i have a 2000 tj sports with the 5 speed auto and going to fit the 6g75 engine next week and wondering if the 380 6g75 converter fits and is there any benefit to use it.

From memory the TJ 5 speed auto tc is stamped 6F and the 380 is stamped 6L. I was discussing something similar with Madmagna yesterday, he has used the 380 tc in a 3rd gen auto and it worked fine.
Best bet would be to shoot him a pm unless he can confirm/shed some more light in this thread.

It fits, it is newer but will not give any benefit

Just use what you have in your car now
