If you are commenting that it is quite a thick one then you must wonder also about the suspension arrangement. Who needs all that reinforcing? Probably a Imprezza or Lancer.

Yeah that's the rear swaybar of the sports model, if you want to improve the rear end even more get a whiteline sway bar, they are not that expensive and bolt straight on but increase stiffness by about 50% if I remember right. I have both whitelines front and rear replacement bars and they made a big difference
