I just brought a 92 se wagon efi auto off ebay for $200 i was wondering how many Ks would i except to get out of a tank

Hi, at that price doesn't matter what fuel comsumpition you get as the was so cheap, I always think its funny when people get into debt to buy a car so they have one cheaper on fuel then their old car, they may save $10 -$20 a week in fuel but with loan interest and depreciation of the new car they would be much more out of pocket then if they had kept their old car, anyway enough of that, I think you would get 400 to 650 k's from a tank of fuel depending on how you drive and if its city or highway driving. the tr is great as im the second owner and came with log books the old couple i got the car off kept it well looked after

Sounds like a great buy for $200, I used to have a TR SE sedan over ten years ago and use to get up to 700 ks on a tank on a long trip if I took it easy.

on the high way with a v6 manual i used to get up to 650 before the petrol light would come on. Ive never owned a 4cyl one but on the hghway the auto v6 was clsoer to 500km before the light would come on

I get 550-600kms for highway and city driving off my 2.6L auto with a 55L tank. 10-11L per 100kms. I'll agree though, if it was only $200 and everything works, it sounds like a great buy.

yeah im trying to upload pics. i drove to the gold coast today to pick up ks head lights they were only $80 for the pair round trip was 268kms and only used half a tank. i was happy how it went

I just squeezed 580km out of my 2.6TS manual - all highway on premium. Normal driving in town on unleaded only about 350 - 400.

I paid 400 for my TS - now i feel like i paid too much!

The best I got from my v6 auto was 780 but normal is about 450 with city driving.
